CAIRO - 23 August 2017: U.S. Congress Representative Ron DeSantis (R-FL) stressed that the U.S. administration should “designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist group,” according to U.S. newspaper, Breitbart on Tuesday.

Rep. DeSantis pointed out that although the Muslim terrorist group is more widely spread in the heart of the Middle East, it has still managed to lay the foundation for those carrying out terrorist attacks all over Europe, noting that U.S. President Donald Trump “didn’t mention Islam or Islamic groups” during his speech on Monday from Fort Myer military base in Arlington, Virginia, USA, where he talked about his military plans for Afghanistan.

Last June, an Egyptian delegation visited Washington on an official visit to the U.S. Congress, which was the first since 2008. Later, in July, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi met with a U.S. Congressional Delegation headed by Representative Jeff Dunham at Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo.
