Saudi army thwarts Yemen's Houthi attack near border

RIYADH - 4 Aug 2017: Saudi forces managed to foil an attempt by Houthi militants to attack a Saudi border city in Jazan Region, military sources said.

The forces, according to Al Arabiya TV, killed dozens of Houthi members in a border village during a two-hour long operation.

A number of military vehicles laden with ammunition were destroyed during the operation, the official said.
