ALGIERS - 28 June 2017:The Algerian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that Foreign Minister Abdel Qader Messahel will lead his country's delegation to the 31st session of African Union (AU) executive council to be held in Addis Ababa on 30 June and 1 July.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry mentioned that the session, which will be preparatory for the 29th AU Summit slated for July 3-4, will probe the report of the AU permanent representatives committee and a number of important issues especially following up the 2063 agenda of the AU.

The African foreign ministers will elect two members in the African commission and the members of the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption as well as the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACHPR).

During this session, the executive council will study draft resolutions and recommendations to be adopted by the presidents and premiers of the AU members countries, the statement read
