Sisi bids farewell to UAE’s Mohammed bin Zayed

CAIRO – 20 June 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi bid farewell to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Sultan Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at the Cairo International Airport on Tuesday after the latter paid a two-day visit to Cairo to discuss regional issues and counter-terrorism efforts.

During Al-Nahyan’s visit, he and President Sisi emphasized the need to stop funding terrorist groups and stopped supplying weapons and fighters, according to a statement from the Egyptian presidency.

The two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultation, especially in this delicate phase witnessed by the region, which is increasing challenges that threaten its security and stability.
