Qatar calls Yemeni embassy’s member to leave within 48 hours

CAIRO – 20 June 2017: The Qatari authorities have asked the member of Yemeni embassy in Doha to leave within 48 hours, a Yemeni diplomatic source said, according to Sputnik Agency.

The source added that there was no comment from the Yemeni Foreign Ministry and the Yemeni mission remained in Doha without leaving.

The Qatari request comes after the Yemeni government announced to sever diplomatic relations with Doha on June 5 following the announcement of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt to sever their relations with Qatar as well and leave their Doha missions.
