CAIRO, Dec 7 (MENA) - The Egyptian-Russian joint naval drill "Friendship Bridge 2019" wrapped up in the Mediterranean Sea.

The naval military exercise is deemed one of the biggest within the northern fleet of the Mediterranean Operations Theater.

A number of naval units, frigates, rocket launchers, auxiliary supply ships and divisions of the special navy forces from both sides took part in the drill.

The drill showed the efficiency and competent skills of the participating forces from both sides in planning, managing and controlling the naval units along with tackling various forms of threats.

Navy top brass from both sides were present at the final stage of the drill.
