CAIRO – 21 September 2019: Yasser Borhami, the deputy head of the Salafist Call, rejected calls by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood to spread violence and chaos in Egypt.

Borhami stressed these calls aim at bringing down the Egyptian state and destabilize its security and economy.

In an article published by Sout Al-Salaf Newspaper, Borhami said the Muslim Brotherhood is turning people into burning coal to torch every nook and cranny.

He further said the Muslim Brotherhood ultimately seeks to destroy the country and sow discord and hatred among its citizens.

Borhami also called upon Egyptian citizens to preserve their homeland and disregard rumors and lies that are being promoted by the terrorist group.

Qatar-owned Al Jazeera channel and Muslim Brotherhood web trolls and media platforms have been publishing fake news and inciting people to demonstrate based on these fake and unverified news.

Borhami finally warned against the terrorist organization, pointing out that their ideology contributed to the spread of terrorism and religious extremism in the region.
