CAIRO – 11 June 2017: President Roch Marc Christian Kabore of Burkina Faso visited Military Factory 200 on Thursday as part of his three-day visit to Egypt. Minister of Migration and Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram Wassef accompanied Kabore.

Kabore was welcomed by the vice president of the National Authority of Military Production, Hassan Abdel Maguid, who explained that the purpose of the factory is to meet the needs of the Egyptian army by providing them with armored vehicles and M1A1 tanks.

Maguid accompanied the president during his tour of the factory, where he checked the production process and technological capabilities of the military products. Kabore also visited an exhibition of military and civil products.

Kabore praised the manufacturing and technological capabilities of the factory, expressing his hopes to launch further cooperation between the two countries and to take advantage of Egypt’s military production experience.
