CAIRO, July 20 (MENA) - Al-Azhar's Islamic Research Academy (AIRA) has deployed its awareness convoys at the state airports and seaports to brief pilgrims on Hajj rituals before heading to Saudi Arabia's holy city Mecca.

The first convoy started their work at various buildings in Cairo International Airport, AIRA chief Nazeer Mohammed Ayyad said in a statement on Saturday.

Other convoys have been deployed to Borg El Arab International Airport, Hurghada Airport, Luxor Airport and Safaga Airport, Ayyad added.

The convoys will be available for pilgrims' assistance around the clock, he noted.
