Egypt dismisses reports on suspending London flights

CAIRO, July 20 (MENA) – An official source at the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation said Saturday reports on suspension of London-Cairo flights for seven days have not been issued by neither the UK Transportation Department nor British Foreign Office.

The Egyptian ministry said in a statement that the verification of the source of such reports is underway in coordination with representative of the British operator in Cairo.

The ministry said it has increased the seat capacity of EgyptAir planes heading for London, noting that a Boeing 787 Dreamliner airplane will be used to operate an additional flight to Heathrow Airport in London as off Sunday.
