Madbouli praises Egyptian-American cooperation in trade and industry

CAIRO – 16 July 2019: Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli hailed on Tuesday the US Chamber of Commerce's enthusiasm about promoting economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and the United States.

This came during his meeting with Myron Brilliant, the executive vice president and head of International Affairs at the US Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of Investment Minister Sahar Nasr and Trade Minister Amr Nassar.

According to a statement issued by the cabinet spokesperson Nader Saed, the premier also reviewed the giant infrastructure projects accomplished by Egypt over the past 5 years.

For his side, Brilliant said Egypt is at the limelight of American companies seeking to promote their business in the Middle East region, especially in view of the positive outcome of the economic reform program.

Brilliant added that there are several domains for promoting cooperation in the coming period, especially in the energy and health domains.

The statement notedthat Brilliant's visit to Egypt falls within the framework of the chamber's interest in enhancing economic and trade cooperation.
