CAIRO - 4 July 2019: The cabinet approved several draft laws during its weekly meeting on Thursday, including a bill on reaching a settlement of some illegally-constructed buildings to legalize their status.

The bill included executive regulations for the law.

The cabinet also okayed a draft law on allocating some state-
owned lands to the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation to be used for setting up stations for pumping and storing petroleum products.

It also approved a draft law on allocating a state-owned plot of land in South Sinai to the governorate to be used for establishing an agricultural research station.

Meanwhile, the cabinet endorsed legalizing 127 churches and Coptic buildings
