CAIRO - 6 June 2019: Meteorological experts said Thursday, which marks the second day of Eid al-Fitr (the Feast of Breaking the Fast) is expected to witness a relatively hot weather, with Cairo recording highs of 36°C.

Areas in the northern coasts will see a moderate weather, according to experts.

Rains are expected to fall in western Egypt, southern Upper Egypt, Southern Sinai and Red Sea mountains area, while wind is active on the southern parts of the country.

Temperatures are expected to be as follows:

Cairo: 36°C - 23°C
Alexandria: 30°C - 23°C
Mersa Matruh: 26°C - 22°C
Sohag: 41°C - 26°C
Qena: 43°C – 27°C
Aswan: 46°C – 31°C
