CAIRO - 1 June 2019: Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese led on Saturday morning a mass at Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church to mark the entry of the holy family to Egypt.

A galaxy of Coptic Orthodox Church senior bishops, priests and deacons took part in the mass. Immigration Minister Nabila Makram was present at the mass as well.

While entering the floral decorated church, the pontiff was flanked by a procession led by high-ranking deacons who chanted Easter hymns.

A host of leaderships of the ministries of antiquities and tourism, Cairo governor, lawmakers alongside church goers were present at the mass.
