Sisi holds Iftar for citizens from different governorates

CAIRO - 20 May 2019: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday hosted an Iftar banquet for a group of citizens at his residence.

Earlier, the president invited several citizens from various governorates, including Cairo, Fayyoum, Minya, Assiut, South Sinai, Beni Suef and New Valley to join him in an Iftar meal at his place of residence.

The president's move comes out of his constant keenness to stay in touch with Egyptian citizens to listen to their views and whatever concerns them.

The president hailed social cohesion prevailing among the different spectra of the Egyptian people.

Posting on his social media accounts, the president said he was happy to host an Iftar banquet today with a group of citizens, expressing his admiration of their ideas and views that show they are aware of the reality of the country and their hopes to see a better future for Egypt.
