CAIRO, May 12 (MENA) - The Arab League started a coordination meeting on Sunday at the level of the permanent representatives in preparation for the 16th session of the senior officials' meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum.

UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Jumaa Mubarak Al Junaibi chaired the preparatory meeting.

The get-together is meant to draw up a joint Arab vision for cooperation with China, before the senior officials' meeting, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on June 16-17, said Khaled al-Habbash, the Arab League's deputy secretary general for international political affairs.

Recommendations to be issued by the senior officials' meeting will be discussed by the Arab diplomats today, he said.
