KUWAIT CITY - 18 April 2019: The union of Egyptian associations in Kuwait has urged nationals here to take part in a referendum on proposed constitutional amendments, which is scheduled to start outside Egypt Friday.

The union, in a statement Thursday, said Egyptian expats should exercise their constitutional right for Egypt to complete its development and construction process outlined by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

It touched upon huge national projects in the field of infrastructure, not to mention a high security level witnessed in Egypt. All this, the statement added, helped create an investment-friendly climate.

Groups of volunteers have been formed with the aim to help Egyptian nationals in Kuwait reach their ballot stations, the statement further said.
