CAIRO – 10 April 2019: The National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) and TAN Group of the UAE signed a cooperation protocol in the field of investment and manufacture, according to a statement issued by the Military Production Ministry Wednesday.

Minister of Military Production Mohamed el Assar and UAE businessman Shiekh Tahnoon bin Saeed Al Nahyan witnessed the signing ceremony.

The protocol aims at boosting cooperation between the military production companies in Egypt and the UAE to implement a number of developmental projects.

The meeting reviewed the products of the Ministry of Military Production, aspects of developing different domains and establishing joint industrial projects so that companies can exchange experiences.

The meeting also tackled the projects that are being implemented in cooperation with the Emirati companies, the statement reported.

The statement added that the ministry welcomes cooperating with different bodies to contribute to implementing developmental projects and increase investment opportunities in Egypt.

At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Tahnoon said the protocol reflects the UAE's keenness to contribute to achieving a tangible quantum leap in Egypt via benefiting from the promising investment opportunities in the Egyptian market.

Sheikh Tahnoon asserted that the Emirati companies have the technological, technical, and human potential to implement several national and development projects in Egypt.
