Beni Suef, Benghazi universities sign MoU in education, research

CAIRO – 28 March 2019: Egypt’s Beni Suef University and Libya’s University of Benghazi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the field of education and scientific research.
President of Beni Suef University Mansour Hassan and President of University of Benghazi Kamel Ali signed on Sunday the MoU, which will put to effect in a period of five years.
It aims to widen the frame of cooperation between both institutions in scientific programs, and future research studies, achieving scientific advancement.
The cooperation further includes exchange visits by professors, exchange scholarships at both universities, training graduates, enhancing coordination between laboratories and seeking curriculum twinning.
For his part, Beni Suef University President Hassan said the MoU seeks also to enhance cooperation in holding and organizing joint conferences, seminars and scientific workshops, joint mentoring of graduate studies and research papers, exchange of information and engineering consultation services in renewable energy and water fields in addition to cooperation in establishing and developing training, research and translation centers.
