CAIRO - 16 March 2019: Egyptian Top prosecutor Nabil Sadek ordered Saturday to open investigations into New Zealand’s terror attack resulted in the killing of dozens of worshipers, including 6 Egyptians.

Sadek instructed the International Cooperation department in the public prosecution to prepare an inquiry to be sent to New Zealand legislative authorities. The inquiry will include prosecution's demands: an official copy of the investigations, forensic medicine reports, official statements about attack’s conditions and causes, detailed discharged tapes and records and discharged surveillance camera.

A terror attack hit two mosques in New Zealand, Christchurch. This act of violence targeted prayers resulted in death of 49 people and injuries of thousands.

Dar al-Ifta deeply condemned rising Islamophobia and Islam hatred. President al-Sisi also convicted New Zealand’s attack described it as a ‘terror act against Islam’ vowing to get victims’ right back.
