CAIRO - 15 March 2019: Forbes Middle East’s 30 under 30 2019's list included seven Egyptian figures. Forbes issued its special edition in February with an aim to shed the light on the most innovative and brilliant Arab public figures under the age of 30.


Forbes' list included seven Egyptians who excel in different fields such as sport, fashion, and science, coming as follows:


1- Nour El Sherbini


The three times World Champion made her way to the list. Nour El Sherbini is a professional Squash player and won the 2018-2019 PSA World Squash Championship. At only 23 years, this young champion proved to the world the true meaning of devotion.



2- Michael Farid


Four recent MIT graduates, who shared a passion for robots, introduced a self-cleaning robotic kitchen, designed to prepare an entire meal in less than three minutes and called it SPYCE.


Michael Farid, a 27-year-old, is the CEO and co-founder of this creative invention.


3- Aya and Mounaz Abdel Raouf


Two sisters born and raised in Cairo. They have passion for art, design, and fashion. Their luxury brand of bags ‘Okhtein’ (Two Sisters) went global where their unique designs were worn by mega stars such as Beyoncé, Emma Watson, and Gigi Hadid.



4- Mohamed Salah


No surprise that “Fakhr El Arab” (The Glory of Arabs) was included in the list. The 26-year-old soccer star and Liverpool striker is not just an inspiration but a role model to everyone as he has reached the mountains of success nationally and internationally.


5- Omar Gabr and Moataz Soliman


These 28-year-olds launched Instabug in 2012 when they were still students at Cairo University. Instabug is a tool that runs in the background of an app, allowing users to send their feedback or bugs instantly, by just shaking their devices.


6-Mohamed Shorbagy


Shorbagy is a professional squash player who has made Egyptians proud. While he was just 23 years old, he was already ranked number 1, and claimed the spotlight again in 2018 at 27 years of age.


7- Naguib Sawiris


Sawiris is the founder of “Yup Technologies, a platform that allows students to access tutoring services through their phones. This app allows tutors to instantly help students based on their needs.
