BEIRUT, March 12 (MENA) - Minister of Economy and Trade Mansour Bteish on Tuesday issued a decision banning the entry to the Lebanese markets of all commodities and products bearing the Israeli trademark.

Bteish's decision comes within the framework of the Lebanese law boycotting Israel.

The decision has been circulated to all Lebanese traders and importers.

The decision was taken after the Ministry of Economy and Trade had received information that some goods carrying the Israeli trademark are available on the Lebanese market.

Bteish confirmed that the Lebanese law boycotting Israel that was issued in 1955 bans the entry of any Israeli product into Lebanon.
