Cold wave prevails – Egypt Today

CAIRO – 6 March 2019: Thunder and lightning hit Cairo Monday accompanied by heavy rains in some coastal cities, Qalyubia and Kafr El-Sheikh.

Meteorological experts expect unstable weather with a slight decline in temperature and speed dust in the coming few days.

Cold weather extends from the North to mid-Cairo. Upper Egypt will witness moderate weather during the day and cold weather during the night.

Unstable weather accompanied by low winds and expected rainfall will affect visibility and cause disorder in maritime navigation on the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.

The Mediterranean Sea waves reach 1.5 meter and the Red Sea waves reach 2.5 meters.

Alexandria witnessed heavy rainfall accompanied by snow and stormy winds on Sunday.

Port Said: 12 - 16 °C
Damietta: 11 - 16 °C
Zagazig: 12 - 17 °C

Baltim: 10 - 17 °C
Siwa Oasis: 11 - 19 °C
Ismailia: 10 - 17 °C
Suez: 14 - 18 °C
Arish: 11 - 17 °C
