CAIRO, Feb 11 (MENA) - Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram urged Egyptian expats to register for attending a conference on Egyptian entities abroad which will be held in Cairo in April.

The deadline for registration is March 15, she said, noting that the conference will be held within the framework of the ministry's initiative "register your entity abroad and get ready for your conference at home."

In a press release on Monday, Makram said the number of the entities that registered in the initiative amounted to 122, adding the conference aims at communicating with the expats and listening to their proposals in a way that serves sustainable development in the country.

She described the conference as a chance for cooperation between the state and expats to ensure a good mechanism serving investment and tourism projects.

The minister described expats as a soft power spreading good news about Egypt, saying their role serves national security of as well as national projects.
