ADDIS ABABA, Feb 9 (MENA)- The Foreign Ministry posted a video on its official Facebook page, detailing Egypt’s rich history in Africa since the establishment of the Organization of African Unity until Cairo’s chairmanship of the 2019 African Union (AU) Summit on February 10 - 11.



The video highlighted the new challenge to be taken up by Egypt with the chairmanship of the upcoming summit, as well as priorities determined by Cairo to fulfill ambition of African peoples and youths.

The chairmanship of the summit will be a new mission to achieve further African solidarity, the video added, concluding with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s words "Long Live Egypt… Long Live Africa."
