ADDIS ABABA - 10 February 2019: Bill Gates, Co-Chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, will partake in the 32nd African Union (AU) Summit, set to kick off on Sunday in Addis Ababa.

Due to his charitable contributions in Africa, Gates will deliver a speech on challenges hindering development goals and access to health services in poor countries.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, during the summit, will receive Egypt's chairmanship of the AU for one year.
