Sisi heads for Addis Ababa to received AU chairmanship

CAIRO- 9 February 2019: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi left here on Saturday for Addis Ababa on a historic visit during which he will receive the chairmanship of the African Union for the year 2019.

He will also attend the 32nd session of the African Union that will kick off on Sunday.

The main topic of this year's summit is refugees and internally displaced in Africa.

The African leaders will also discuss means of fighting terrorism and establishing peace and security in the African countries.
