CAIRO: 25 January 2019: Bahrain's Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has inspected the forces participating in the joint military exercise (Hamad -3), which is carried out by the Egyptian and Bahraini naval and air troops in Bahrain.

The Bahraini commander-in-chief welcomed the Egyptian forces taking part in the joint exercise and conveyed the greetings of King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to them.

He also praised the efforts exerted by the Egyptian forces throughout various phases of the joint drills.

He pointed out that this exercise falls within the framework of military cooperation between Egypt and Bahrain with an aim of consolidating and brotherly ties between both countries.

The joint exercise aims as well to enhance close relations binding the Arab countries to push forward the Arab action and improve their ability to overcome joint challenges, he added.
