CAIRO, Jan 16 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has issued a decree Wednesday that the public prosecution should refer certain types of crimes to the emergency state security courts.

The decree published in the official gazette, applies to all crimes mentioned in Law No. 10 for 1914 on unlawful assembly and crimes mentioned in the first and second chapters of the second book of the penal code along with the crimes of blocking public means of transportation.

The premier's decision is also applicable to the crimes of hooliganism, intimidating people and tampering with the prices of basic goods.

It covers also crimes related to illegal possession of arms and ammunition and violating the sanctity of places of worship.
