CAIRO - 15 November 2018: An extraordinary meeting of the Arab League at the permanent delegates' level kicked off on Thursday to discuss the latest developments of the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.

The meeting - under Sudan's chairmanship - is held at a request from Palestine.

Earlier in the day, Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Ambassador to the Arab League Diab al Loh urged the international community to prod Israel into halting its crimes and violations against the Palestinians.

He called for taking deterrent measures to stop flagrant Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip.

He said the meeting is meant to come up with a joint Arab action in the face of the Israeli crimes against Palestinians.

He noted that 14 Palestinians were killed and 36 injured in the latest Israeli attack in addition to the destruction of hundreds of houses.
