CAIRO - 10 November 2018: The Observatory for Monitoring Takfiri Fatwas and Extremist Ideologies called for closing media websites and electronic platforms belonging to terrorist groups.

In a press release, the observatory, an affiliate of Egypt's Darul Ifta, said that a number of terrorist attacks were witnessed in some parts world over the past few hours; in the US's California, Australia's Melbourne and the Indonesian capital Jakarta, as a result of a distress call launched by Daesh terrorist group via a new circulated video message entitled " Inside the Caliphate 8".

In the 16-minute or so video, the extremist organization urged its members abroad who believe in takfiri ideologies to carry out terrorist attacks across the world, the release read.

The video message aims at recruiting new terrorist elements and mobilizing sleeping cells to plot for new terrorist acts to make up for the consecutive losses in Daesh-controlled regions, the release warned.

The observatory further called on the world countries especially the western states to join the anti-Daesh international coalition to foil terrorist attacks being plotted by takfiri elements.
