CAIRO - 2 November 2018: Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq inspected on Friday security measures at Sharm el Sheikh International Airport a day before the opening of the 2nd World Youth Forum (WYF).

The minister also inspected security checkpoints and urged the forces to be vigilant and to beef up measures at the borders of the South Sinai governorate, especially those leading to Sharm el Sheikh in order to secure the event.

Tawfiq commended the forces’ discipline and high morale in carrying out their duties in coordination with the Armed Forces.

The World Youth Forum, to run from November 3 to 6 in the Red Sea resort city, will be attended by youth from around the world, allowing them to exchange views and recommend initiatives to decision-makers and influential figures.
