CAIRO - 24 October 2018: Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdi Sanad Louza will take part in a second edition of the Italy-Africa Conference, to kick off in Rome on Thursday Oct.25.

Louza, who will head for Italy later Wednesday, will read out Egypt's word in the first session of the ministerial conference.

The conference comes two years after the convocation of its first edition in 2016.

The conference mirrors Italy's interest in continuing dialogue with the African continent to deepen cooperation.

Egyptian-Italian relations are remarkably progressing at all levels, especially at the political one.

Some 46 African countries together with representatives of 13 international organizations, including the African Union, are taking part in the conference.

The conference aims at finding shared solutions to the largest challenges in the area of peace, freedoms, democracy and security, and to single out common paths towards growth, especially by involving qualified Italian players from the world of industry and business, academia and non-governmental organizations.
