CAiro - 22 October 2018: The head of the central department of agricultural quarantine Ahmed el Attar said on Monday that a high-level delegation from several ministries will visit Brazil next week to discuss opportunities for bilateral collaboration.

He pointed out that the delegation will include the representative of the Agriculture Ministry, and talks will be held with Brazil's agricultural quarantine authorities to open a new market for exports of grapes, garlic and citrus to their markets for the first time.

El Attar told Egypt Today that the opening of new markets with many countries during the past period is a new success that includes the achievements of Egyptian agrarian stone.

El Attar stated that a full file will be presented to the Brazilian agricultural quarantine authorities through private transactions to clarify the laboratory procedures recently taken by Egypt in order to preserve the quality of Egyptian agricultural exports. Egyptian agricultural exports have a good reputation in various countries around the world, El Attar added.

He stressed that the agricultural stone is still continuing its efforts in coordination with various countries to review new measures taken by Egypt in order to open more international markets and create a gateway for exports of various agricultural crops.
