Sisi to meet with American business delegation in Cairo

CAIRO – 19 October 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will be meeting with delegation of the American businessmen during an official visit to Cairo later this month.

According to official statement, the delegation will be in Cairo on October 23 until October 25. A lot of issues will be discussed during the visit regarding the economic challenges in Egypt.

Sisi returned to Cairo on Wednesday night after fruitful three-day visit to Russia.

Sisi headed to Moscow on Monday to hold talks with President Putin. On the same day, Putin issued a decree approving to sign a comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation agreement with Egypt to include all levels.

The decree consists of endorsing proposals on the agreement by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs that are set in collaboration with executive authority institutions. The decree was published on the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

The president laid a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier in Red Square in Moscow on Tuesday before he was received by Russia's Federal Council's Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko.

Sisi delivered a speech before the upper house of the Federal Assembly of Russia, the Federation Council, becoming the first foreign leader to do so. The speech highlighted former and future joint achievements in the history of Egyptian-Russian relations.
