RIYADH - 14 October 2018: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani slammed on Sunday the media campaign against Saudi Arabia over the disappearance of Saudi national Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey.

In a statement, Zayani described what some Arab and international media circulate as false and groundless accusations that aim to defame the kingdom.

He pointed out that some media outlets violated principles of the code of ethics in the media.

Saudi Arabia does not hesitate to form a joint investigation committee with the Turkish side to uncover the truth, he added.
