Abbas: Palestinian issue passing through most difficult time

RAMALLAH/NEW YORK- 26 Sept 2018: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday said that the Palestinian issue is passing through the most difficult time.

At a meeting in his residence in New York with members of the Palestinian community, he added that the Palestinians will keep steadfast until achieving their national goals of freedom, independence and setting up their independent State with Al Quds as its capital.

He added that the US has alienated itself from the the Palestinian cause as a fair mediator for the political process when it recognized Al Quds as the capital of Israel and when it halted funding UNRWA relief agency, according to the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
