NEW YORK - 25 September 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi stressed on Monday that he is looking forward to enhancing the relations with Norway in all fields.

Sisi made the remarks during a meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said.

The president briefed the Norwegian premier on the latest developments in Libya, stressing that Egypt has an unshakable stance towards the Libyan crisis.

Egypt supports the political solution in Libya and calls for unifying the Libyan military, he noted.

Solberg, for her part, stressed her country's keenness on boosting the ties with Egypt at all levels.

She also valued the role played by Egypt to maintain Mideast security and achieve Palestinian reconciliation.

The meeting also tackled issues of mutual concern as well as means of boosting the bilateral relations in the fields of energy, fisheries, shipping and logistics.
