CAIRO – 26 May 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi held a security meeting to discuss the issue of Minya attack, directing the cabinet to take all required measures for the treatment of injured people.

Twenty-six people were killed and at least 25 others injured in a shooting attack targeted a bus carrying more than 40 Coptic Christians on Friday in Upper Egypt, according to the Ministry of Health.

Gunmen opened fire at the bus headed to the Monastery of St. Samuel in Minya province, about 220km (140 miles) south of Cairo capital.
