Egypt blocks websites for inciting violence including Al-Jazeera

CAIRO- 25 May 2017: Security authorities have blocked several media websites affiliated with Qatar and outlawed Brotherhood group on Wednesday including Al-Jazeera website.

Over the past three years Al-Jazeera supported the outlawed Brotherhood which committed acts of violence after the outset of Mohamed Morsi in 2013.

“These websites publish content that supports terrorism and extremism as well as publishing lies,” an Official told Egypt Today.

Here are some of the websites that were blocked in Egypt starting from Wednesday:
o Al-Jazeera
o Rassd
o Ikhwan Online
o Arabi 21
o Al-Sharq TV website
o Hamas
o Hasem
o Bababet Al-Qahira
o Nafezet Masr
o Hurria Post
