CAIRO - 27 August 2018: Premier and Housing Minister Mostafa Madboli reviewed a report on services provided to North Sinai residents in July, 2018 during the Comprehensive Operation Sinai 2018.

The move comes within the framework of the ongoing follow-up and implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to form a permanent committee that convenes weekly under North Sinai governor.

The premier gave directives to the officials to continue offering support to the inhabitants of North Sinai, said a statement issued by the cabinet's media office.

He further hailed cooperation and coordination among various State bodies in providing needed aid, foodstuff and medical services to the residents of the governorate, the statement read.

During July 2018, about 51 million were spent by the Social Solidarity Ministry to provide aid and cash subsidies for 9,607 persons, said the report released by North Sinai governorate.

Concerning the efforts exerted in the medical care field, 6,629 cases were treated within the framework of implementing a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian academic institutions to delegate doctors from Cairo, Zagazig, Mansoura and Al Azhar universities.

The report sheds light on four medical convoys sent by the National Population Council (NPC) and the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood besides offering medical treatment and medicine in Arish General Hospital.

The report further mentioned that the services provided to the residents of North Sinai during July 2018 came within the framework of the existing coordination among the governorate, the Armed Forces, police and Supply Ministry in order to fulfill the basic needs of citizens.
