CAIRO – 22 August 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi exchanged during telephone conversations congratulations with a number of Arab leaders on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

President Sisi, on Tuesday, exchanged best Eid greetings and wishes with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.

In the calls, Sisi expressed his heartfelt greeting on the holy occasion to the leaders, wishing welfare for their peoples.

Sisi performed the Eid prayers at Mohammed Karim Mosque in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, accompanied by Prime Minister and Minister of Housing and Urban Communities Moustafa Madbouli, Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal, and Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa.

Faithful Muslims around the world celebrate the first day of Eid al-Adha on Tuesday, beginning the four-day holiday that coincides with the annual hajj pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
