Sisi exchanges Eid al-Adha greetings with Arab leaders

CAIRO – 20 August 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi exchanged during telephone conversations congratulations with a number of Arab leaders on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

President Sisi, on Monday, exchanged best Eid greetings and wishes with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk region Emir Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

In the calls, Sisi expressed his heartfelt greeting on the holy occasion to the leaders, wishing welfare for their peoples.

He also sent a cable of greeting to the Egyptian Muslims abroad on Eid al-Adha as he wished more progress and development for Egypt.

Sisi also received cables of greeting from senior State officials on the same occasion.

Faithful Muslims around the world celebrate the first day of Eid al-Adha on Tuesday, beginning the four-day holiday that coincides with the annual hajj pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
