CAIRO- 6 Aug 2018: Defense and Military Production Minister Mohamed Zaki met on Monday with Nigerian Defense Minister Mansur Muhammad Dan and his accompanying delegation for talks on the latest regional and international developments and boosting military cooperation and joint exercises.

The talks tackled coordinating joint efforts to face terrorism and lay down foundations of security and stability in the region




Zaki lauded deeply-rooted military cooperation between the two countries' armed forces, hoping more cooperation would take place within the coming period.

The Nigerian minister lauded the Egyptian Armed Forces' success in quelling terrorism and restoring security and stability, wishing more prosperity and welfare to Egypt.

Top military brass as well as the Nigerian ambassador to Egypt attended the meeting.
