CAIRO - 1 August 2018: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Wednesday said that the Egyptian universities did not issue any forged certificates for Kuwaiti students.

In a released statement, the ministry added that it followed up reports on this matter with much concern.

The ministry explained that some persons, who are not belonging to any Egyptian university, are involved in issuing fake certificates that have no origin with any Egyptian university.

So, the Egyptian universities are not involved in the issue in the first place, the ministry pointed out.

The Egyptian universities have upgraded their mechanism for printing certificates through using up-to-date technological means so that nobody could forge them, the ministry added.

It said it is maintaining contacts with the Kuwaiti authorities to cooperate with it in investigating the case.
