CAIRO - 31 July 2018: Egypt's Minister of Interior ordered on Monday limited changes in the top echelons of the leadership of the ministry's sectors as part of an inter-ministry reshuffle and reassignment, the state news agency reported.

The ministry announced the names of 61 leaders appointed to top positions in various sectors and departments.

Security sources revealed that the reshuffle included the replacement of batches of 1980 and 1981 by batches of 1983 and 1984 to take the posts of security managers, while the batch of 1987 was promoted to the rank of brigadier general.

Social conditions and the humanitarian dimension were taken into consideration in the reshuffle to help officers do their duties effectively.
