File - Egyptian Parliamentarians vote in favor of a proposal
CAIRO - 26 July 2018: Chairman of the parliamentary committee for Arab Affairs Saad el-Gamal condemned Wednesday's terrorist attack on As Suwayda in southern Syria.
Over 220 people were killed and hundreds injured in the ISIS attack.
He expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished those injured speedy recovery.
In a statement on Thursday, Gamal urged the Syrian people to set aside their differences and join hands in the face of terrorism.
Political differences between the Syrian regime and the armed opposition nurture terrorism, he cautioned, urging the two sides to react positively to Egyptian and international efforts to clinch a political settlement.
He slammed foreign interference into the Syrian internal affairs which offers a cover for terrorists in Syria
