CAIRO – 23 July 2018: Hundreds of Britons staged rallies Monday outside the UK parliament in London in protest at a visit currently paid by Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the country.

The angry demonstrators chanted slogans against the Qatari emir and accused Doha of sponsoring terrorism and aiding the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group.

They also slammed Qatar's ill-treatment of migrant workers.

Some supports of the Qatari regime tried to clash with the demonstrators but security forces managed to contain the situation.

Tamim started on Sunday a visit to the UK, where he is scheduled to meet British Prime Minister Theresa May and a host of lawmakers.
