Azhar denounces Jewish Nation-State law

CAIRO - 20 July 2018: Al Azhar strongly condemned on Friday the approval of the Jewish Nation-State Law, deeming it a move that highlights racism and exposes the true face of Israeli occupation.

"Such move represents a new chapter in the catalog of violations and assaults suffered by Palestinians," the world's highest Sunni Islam seat said in a statement.

"Palestine will always remain an Arab country, an inalienable right for its Arab people regardless of their faiths and sects."
