CAIRO – 14 July 2018: An Egyptian fishing boat, with three fishermen on board, disappeared in the Mediterranean Sea while heading from Port of Misurata in Libya back to Egypt, the head of the fishermen's union Ahmed Nassar said on Saturday.

The Egyptian owner of the boat was in a partnership with a Libyan man to run this boat. After ending the partnership term on Sunday July 1, the boat moved from Misurata port heading to Egypt and has not reached Egypt until now, Nassar added.

No news has been received about the fishermen for nine days; the boat was scheduled to return to the Governorate of Kafr El-Sheikh in Egypt on July 6, he ended, urging Egyptian officials to look for the boat and save the fishermen.
